Our Band

If you love music, you’ll love Counterpoint. Band leader Bill Schatz and the band rehearse Tuesday evenings and we are always looking for dedicated musicians and vocalists who love music and who can make a commitment to one practice a week and most Sunday mornings. The band hopes to expand its repertoire over time to include a variety of music from country, to gospel, to rock.

What happens at Counterpoint?

Come in, and enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the newly refurbished Grace Anglican church parish hall, now home of the new Counterpoint Church.  Start with a
coffee, tea, or refreshment with a light breakfast snack while singing with the Counterpoint band.

A typical Sunday morning:

• begins with free refreshments, and joining the band in singing three to four songs;
• a reading from scripture;
• 20 minutes of teaching, followed by a question and answer period with our teaching pastor;
• prayer;
• two more songs to conclude the service.

Counterpoint Kids

• During the teaching time, children in elementary school will leave for a Bible story and return for the closing singing.

Counterpoint Teens

• Our youth group is currently in transition and will be starting up again in September.

Special Services

We hold Services of Healing, Group Baptisms, and Communion from time to time.

Prayer Partners

After each service, prayer partners are available to pray for you, pray with you, or simply chat.
